        Hoffman thermostatic traps are recommended for: low and medium pressure two pipe heating systems radiators, convectors, fintube, sterilizers, laundry and kitchen equipment, and small process equipment. They handle steam, air, and condesate by pressure and temperature to open and close the diaphragm or bellows. This thermostatic element expands when steam is present to close the trap, and contracts when the cooler air or condensate is present to open the trap which allows the condensate to drain. The Hoffman thermostatic trap has cast bronze body available in angle and straight pattern.
